DD Birthday Card

Here's my dd's first birthday card - something girly rather than baby. I love making these little dresses with vellum cardigans, it is so simple but looks quite effective I think. The little figure is made from Fimo. I plan to use this as one of the workshops I'm doing in September along with the baby vest in the little stork wallet - although I got the storks from a pal on the CS site, so perhaps will be altered a little.
The other pics were my entries for the Craft Supplies July Challenges - congrats to Elisa for a fabulous winning Layout and to Sandidune for her card. I've set the challenge for this month and it is to make a friend card and incorporate a cd or part of cd into your design and Elisa has me pondering over her challenge for a monochromatic layout with contrasting embellishment and some hand cutting, I can't settle on a colour to start with!
